Kayleigh joined RYAH as a full-time Treatment Assistant in the summer of 2020. Her love of animals began at an early age, volunteering as a “cat cuddler” at the KW Humane Society in middle school. She completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Honours Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. She decided to combine her love of animals with her career and completed the Animal Care program at Sheridan College.
Working as a Treatment Assistant at RYAH, she aids the Technicians in the treatment room to help make pets feel more comfortable during their stay.
Recently, Kayleigh has moved over to a Veterinary Care Coordinator role where she is able to use her customer service skills to liaison directly with clients.
Kayleigh has a passion for animals in need and enjoys fostering cats. You can read about her foster cat “Sassy” who is looking for a forever home! She also shares her home with her boyfriend and a Boxer mix Cassie, Siberian cat Chester, and Marvin the black cat.
