Dr. Suzie Jerabek

Born and raised in Etobicoke, Dr Suzie Jerabek wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a little girl. The inspiration came from caring for numerous family pets – and a veterinary co-op placement during high school intensified her resolve. Suzie spent 8 years in Guelph before returning to her roots – graduating with an Honours Bachelor of Science from U of G and a veterinary degree from the Ontario Veterinary College. The call of family and friends found Suzie making her way back to Etobicoke, where she joined the Royal York Animal Hospital team in 2007.

Her busy household includes (in no particular order!) her lively tortoiseshell cat, Peanut, her daughter, son, and husband. During her time off, Suzie enjoys a good workout, whether it’s at the gym, skiing, or running after her children.
