Dr. John Allen

I’m Dr. Allen, though everyone fondly calls me Dr. John. I graduated from the University of Guelph, Ontario Veterinary College, and have been a part of the RYAH team since 1998. A bit of a workaholic, I absolutely love being a veterinarian, but I now escape the cold winters to sunny Mexico!

For many years, I had the privilege of being the spokesperson for RYAH and regularly appeared on Animal House Calls with Ann Rohmer, helping to educate pet owners and answer their questions. I’ve been told I have a unique ability to explain complex procedures in simple, easy-to-understand language, which has made me a favorite among our clients.

I’m also a proud grandpa to five wonderful grandchildren! Outside of work, I enjoy trying new restaurants and going to the theatre. I’ve lived in the Etobicoke community for over 35 years.
